Your Route:
We’ll explore a variety of habitats within the vast Thargomindah Town Common, including the beautiful Bulloo River Flood Plain, rare mulga scrublands, rugged stoney ridges, and blacksoil wetlands alive with birdlife.The Adventure:
A full day tour (8 hours, 7:30am - 4:00pm) perfect for an introduction to the area’s incredible wildlife.Meet & Depart:
We set off from the Thargomindah Tourist Information Centre. Tours usually begin at 7:30am.Booking Details:
Please book by 5:00pm the day before. Tours are private and limited to small groups for a more personal, interactive experience.

Our tours are intimate - maximum 3 people per group. It’s all about quality time in nature, not crowded buses.
Moderate fitness is recommended. Expect gentle walking, occasional uneven ground, and plenty of fresh air. If you have any concerns, just let us know when booking.
Nature can be unpredictable! If your tour is cancelled due to unsafe weather or environmental conditions, you’ll receive a full refund - no hassles.

If you can’t make your scheduled departure, prepaid fees are normally non-refundable unless we decide otherwise - contact us as early as possible for flexibility. If we cancel (due to weather, for example), you get a full refund.
We provide full public liability insurance for personal injury while on tour. Please note, we can’t take responsibility for your personal items (cameras, phones, etc.), so bring only what you need and keep it safe.
A sun hat, sturdy shoes, camera, and your sense of adventure! If you want to bring binoculars or a bird guidebook, even better.
