Our Story
Founded and operated by Ted Middleton – a lifelong birder, bushman, and storyteller – Thargomindah Birdwatching Tours was born from a passion for sharing the hidden wonders of the Bulloo River floodplains, mulga scrublands, and internationally renowned RAMSAR wetlands.
With decades of local knowledge and a sharp eye for rare and iconic species, Ted’s tours are as much about discovery as they are about connection: to country, to wildlife, and to each other.
